Hmmmm. I need to do something, my 4.2 is really, really tired. I was going to swap in a 4.3 TBI V-6, but I think the 4.0 swap is easier, and about the same output.

Yes- this motor is still available along with all of the accessories and wiring...
I would really like to get this engine a new home before winter sets in. Darel and I have lots of projects on the books for this winter and we could certainly use the shop space...
Good, strong running motor. All offers will be considered and all proceeds from the sale of this motor go directly to the Yacolt Burn Trails Fund.

[eeyore] Great [/eeyore] I'll probably talk to you about it on Sunday. Just what I need, ANOTHER motor on a stand. Actually, I have a buddy in Yelm that did the swap, he says the wiring isn't too bad.
Thanks, Gordon

For the CJ-5 I'm going to stick with a manual. My rear driveshaft is too short as it is, and I'm happy with my 4 speed. I do plan on upgrading my T-177 to a T-19 in the future, but it's about $800 in adapters and rebuild parts befor I can swap it in. Seems like I know someone looking for a tranny, though. Where is the T-case cracked, I might be interested in it for a doubler for my CJ-10a project? I know a guy that can weld pretty much any/everything.

The T-case was cracked all the way through the middle. I believe it went to the scraper with the Jeep.

Thanks for the work in pulling everything. I need to gather some parts, flywheel, motormounts, fuel system, maybe a steering box, (I have a couple, unknown fittings and condition) then have it in by the end of January. I'll holler when it's time for the maiden voyage.

Crystal, do you still have the transmission there? I need to get some measurements so I can modify my bellhousing to accept the Crank Position Sensor.
