i havent acutally started to build the system yet but i am only a few parts away. the xj history goes i got the jeep with 4 inches of lift blocks in the back and two of those rubber spacers up front and it looked pretty but wasnt much for flex. so i swaped the spacers for springs and got a set of lift leafs and i was happy but not for long. i soon found i wanted more flex so came the long arm all costum fabbed and tough as nails. the front now i am satisfiyed with but the back has now become a hang up. i decieded about two months ago rear coils and a true Triangulated 4 link was the way to go and now i am here. i am going to build it all out of .250 material except the truss which is 3/8s. i would like any imput on positioning of the front of the arms to keep xj from having any squat or anti squat. and if anyone has experience welding tubes into pumpkins i planed on it but dont have the welder for the job. this is when i got it and the flex removed spacers and blocks flex test the long arm kit stage And the long arm flex test And now for the rear.

I don't know were the true center of gravity is. Someone once told me that it was in the center of the transmission and at the floor board. If you have a way to figure out true COG you can use my Cherokee at a test model. I don't know how to do it other than having a teeter-totter on hand. Sorry I wasn't more help.

You measure from the top center bolt of the bell housing to get an easement of where your center of gravity is.
