Sorry I missed the meeting last night and i also wanted to say sorry for hi-jacking Joey also. But i am proud to say that we are know the proud owners of a 1951 Willy's Wagon 4x2.
I found this rig on craigslist in Tacoma for sale for $1200.00 it was in good shape from the photos but had some rust in the usual locations. So last minute on tues afternoon the lady called me with her address and said it was okay if we came and looked at it tonight. She said that there were mulitpal people interested in it and people that were coming to look at it wed if it was still there. So i thought its worth the shot lets go. We loaded up mom and als dodge with my dads trailer and off we went. After some problems we finally made it to there house at 10pm. Joey and I looked over the rig well and thought it was worth it. So we started loading it on the trailer of course in the rain that just started and didnt stop until we were putting the last strap on. It took about an hour because the breaks were frozen and there was a bad tire. I offered them $1000 for it got the title and off we went. We finally pulled out of tacoma at 1am headed home. We pulled into joeys at 2:30 and noticed that we had blown a tire on the trailer somewhere in our journey so i pulled it slowly back to moms and parked it there for the night. I will post pics as soon as i can. I think its going to be a good project for the family and there all excited.
