Posting Pictures without Using Photo Bucket
You can insert images into your forum posts without uploading them to Photo bucket. You insert images from most websites, including Facebook. This will save time, as you will not have upload images to both Facebook and Photo bucket. Here is how:
1) You will have to open multiple tabs in your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox etc) or use multiple windows.
2) Use one tab to navigate to the Pistons Wild Forum and reply to a post or open a new post. Use the second tab to navigate to the website that has the image you would like to use. (Let’s use Facebook as an example.)
3) Type up your post in the Piston’s Wild forum. Then place the cursor where you would like to insert and image and press the insert image button in the “Add Tags” section just above your message. The icon looks like a photo. This will pop onto the screen: [ img][ /img]. (This is telling the forum you are inserting a picture!)
4) Go to facebook and Right* click on the image you want to insert.
5) Select “Properties”* at the bottom of the list. It will bring up the information for the image including a URL or address. COPY this address/URL
6) Paste this address/url BETWEEN and [/img]
7) Repeat this process for any other pictures as well.
*These instructions are written for a person using a Windows PC with Internet Explorer series 7 or higher. The basic steps are the same for Mac users and persons using the Firefox browser, however the verbiage may be different.
“Properties” may be something like “Image Info” etc.
To “Right Click” on a single button mouse hold down CTRL and click.
FYI: Also I do believe if the picture is removed from the place you linked it from your picture will disappear.
