Also All Truck on St Johns has a nice selection of low miles, good running v8's.
Just saying.

Can't say "MY" jeep.. at all. is Wifes Jeep. Likely to never go offroad. and was only in 4wd one time this last winter. Always had a loud top side and now has a deeper knock. I have spent days online reading pros and cons of Everybodys engines.. I am now about to place order for LKQ remanufactured engine. Appears they have bought several remanufacturers and seem to be doing OK quality wise. Napa uses ATK ( which is LKQ ) Autozone and others are them too. Complaints online seem to be very few compared to Jasper, Barnetts, and S&S ( S&R, SS&R ). and I can walk into their office in Portland with any complaints ( not mail order ) No tax as it will be delivered to them. Anyone bought a Remanufactured LKQ ? please chime in. Dave.

I'm getting ready to do my rebuild with engnbldr.com in Portland. Mine's a 22re, but he has a lot of machinery in his shop. From dunk tanks to boring and honing blocks, Tom there is set up to do just about anything. He's a really honest guy, and he's pretty well connected... anyway, hope that helps.
Edit: The guy's name is Tod. Tod Stanwood, and he used to race. His shop used to turn out 4-5 long blocks per week, but that was when it was a few employees with him. Now it's a one-man operation.
I was just looking through my old posts, and realized that I messed up his name
