Thanks Paul, now the issue I have is how/where to mount the spare tire and jerry can.....I ended up sucking the rear bumper so close to the body that I ran out of room to mount a spindle for a swing-away lol

I'm sure it wouldn't look horrible if you built a square block to mount the spindle. That way you don't have to waste space.

Thought about that, also thought maybe doing a pull down tire carrier....I dunno lol. I will continue building the rock sliders and and pencil stuff out for tire carrier.

On that topic. Do you have a good spare. I thought of you as I walk around back and saw I so have my old spare. 5x5.5 34x10.5r15. Super swamper.

I did the same thing on my rear bumper when I built it a got it a close as possible. I also had a tub mounted tire carrier. (Bad idea) then when I added a swing out I barely had enough room. I used a 1"bolt from the bottom of the bumper through a piece of 1.5"x.25 wall Dom then redneck turned down and ground out grease valleys until it slid in said some 2"x.25 wall dom. Added a zero and welded a fat washer on top of the 2" with to bolt it all together. I told you all that because I could not fit one of those spindle kits inside the bumper with the space I had but I could fit a 1" bolt. Also it was free and I am painfully cheap. Good luck I am also a vote for welding a spindle to the outSide with some nice gusset plates to dress it up. I'm sure you can figure out how to make that look good.

I been driving the Jeepster since last Friday to shakedown and pre-trip before driving it to Kingsley Reservoir OHV and back on the 22nd. Repaired some brake light wiring, replaced 10ga wire from alternator to starter, replaced the battery tray and have plans for more this weekend. On my way home the clutch pedal starts feeling weird, little further down the road its getting hard to shift. I stop the next parking lot and inspect. My Wilwood clutch master cylinder is puking fluid on both sides of the firewall.

Do you have another one to swap it out with? New one ordered, be here in a couple days. Went with a Wilwood 11/16" bore. Hopefully no more issues before the trip

Received the new clutch master and installed Wednesday, repaired some torn defrost ducting, and tried to figure out why my M12000 winch won't free spool. Removed the end with the spool lever to find that it seemed to be working properly...so off to Kingsley in the morning with a winch for decoration only lol. Any savy winch guys have any suggestions what may cause this?

Well, I was able to enjoy about 20 mins of the Kingsley trail today before my front driveline broke....broken at a weld splice (a poor weld at that). Oh well, build it stronger

So you were right in saying it didn't feel like you were getting any spline contact when you put it back in....
Cool at least you know and it wasn't something like the front output shaft.
Also you may need to address the shaft contacting the starter area. (That shiny ring on the driveline) I have had the same problem and broken yokes because of it.

I've decided to upsize the yokes on t/case and diff to 1310 and run a YJ driveline. It will eliminate that carrier bearing.
