Amanda and I are going Ridgefield Kayak on Friday July 3rd at 9:00am to rent a kayak and spend a few hours on the water near the wildlife area. I am posting this to extend an invite to anyone that is interested. There is a pretty good price break for 6 rentals. Message me if interested

Is it a place I can bring my canoe? Never been there YES!!!! Although I just read that it requires a permit to launch that costs $8 for a day. Hope to see you there Getting There From Land To reach the Ridgefield Launch: Take exit 14 off of Interstate 5 and head west 3 miles along Pioneer Street. Take a right onto Main Avenue. Take a left onto Mill Street for the boat launch

So we paddled all the way around Badger Island, which is just over a 10 mile journey. Great fun, helluva sunburn and amazing shoulder workout!!!
