This has been a really crappy snow year - but this video reminded me of why I keep letting those money pits take up valuable space in the shop... There is nothing, and I mean nothing that rejuvenates the soul like a ride in fresh powder... www.liveleak.com/view?i=ad1_1220865595Going sledding next Saturday, February 7th - meet at Skyline Snow Park - leave the parking lot promptly at 10:00am - pack a lunch. Beginners welcome - no crazy stuff if you don't want to... Call me if you have any questions - Crystal (360) 606-1648

Wow that looks like fun. Is there even enough snow up there to go play off the groomed trails. This year I just havent been devoted as I was last year maybe its cause I was spoiled last year with the record snowfall that was amazing.

Thats it gotta justify those lead sleds taking up so much shop room all year long I gotta get out there and at least fall off once or twice just to remember why I got em in the first place. So I will be there saturday. Im gonna try out my muff pot as well ( I know get your minds out of the gutter) If you see my sled sometime I will show you what it is and its not what your thinking. Just think "turbo taters" Darel will know exactally what I am talking about.

Just had to bump this post - I go and watch this video whenever I start to complain about the sleds taking up space and money that I don't have to spare for 9 months out of the year. Yep - I just watch the video and I'm dreaming of floating along in fresh powder this winter. CAN'T WAIT... Be sure to turn on the sound for the video. www.sledtv.org/snowmobile-videos/video/111/BOOST--BREATHE--THE-MOST-BEAUTIFUL-SNOWMOBILE-CLIP-IN-HE-WORLDI am saving my pennies for a good, used 4-stroke Yamaha. Love my 700 Arctic Cat Powder Special - but I really would like to have a (quieter, cleaner) 4-stroke... If you've never gone snowmobiling - I strongly encourage you to head East (Bend, Idaho, wherever) for a weekend at some cool resort, rent some sleds and I guarantee you will have a blast! One short trip in fresh powder and you will be addicted for life... Local snowmobile clubs: Mt. NO!!! It sounds like another expensive fun hobby. I can't deal with another addiction along with my other ones! "jeeps, quads, snowboarding, and women" and not necessarily in that order!!!

HAHAHA You do know that Snowboarding and Snow-Wheeling are gateway drugs to Snowmobiling right? It's only a matter of time... Just give in now and get a sled (before the snow really gets-a flyin') I wouldn't buy this - but it might be fun to ride just once... corvallis.craigslist.org/rvs/2687180391.html

I just saw the weather report for late next week and can you say HEAVY MOUNTAIN SNOW!
Thats what I have been waiting for. Time to go dig the sleds out and get them fired off and sniff a little two stroke exhaust it has been so long since that has happened.
Note to self this time fire sleds outside the shop so the neighbors dont think its on fire.
Myself and some guys at work are milling over a few trips for the sleds this year when things slow down. We have decided on Moon Mountain, Tumalo, Cresent Lake, and Paulina for the "Rollercoaster" A half mile long huge half pipe for sleds. Then a possible trip to McCall Idaho for a week of fun in the powder.
Enough talk time to head to the shop for some action.
