I'm building the Takács GotTrikes tube bender. Anyone have suggestions on local steel suppliers? We do a fair amount of custom stuff and usually go through Eastside Steel here in Vancouver.

I just went to "The Steel Yard" off Columbia Blvd for some material for a new bumper. Seemed to be very reasonably priced. Only thing that I didn't like was on most items I had to by a 10ft chunk. Not a big deal because now I have a lot of left overs for some other projects. They also have a good surplus section of different size rectangular tubing.

I usually go to Clackamas Steel I have found that they are usually the cheapest for what I am looking for. But always do your due dilligence and call around to get a feel what people are charging. I havent bought any steel in a few months.
