Yes I have decided to run the Dana 44's. I haven't picked them up yet but will be soon. The thing that made the final decision was all the stuff I'm getting with them. I'm getting both axles. All his steering, new steering box, all his trackbar, extra shafts for both axles, extra hubs, and five 5x5.5 wheels if I decide not to buy beadlocks right away. I think its a good deal for $2600. I will have to buy a locker for the rear but no biggy there. Its a stronger option then what I have, and way cheeper then building my axles. I know there are some down falls like there are very few in the club that run 5x5.5 wheels so if something happens I better have a spare. They are heavier, and eat up some ground clearance. But there was down falls to keeping the axles I have. They are not as strong, they were more money to build, the rear didn't have disk breaks, I am still having steering issue's (I'm pretty sure its my tires though), and last but not least if I built these they don't have hubs like they mew ones witch will save my fuel mileage. All in all I think I made the right decision and can't wait to get them under the xj.

Well last night a buddy off NAXJA and I pulled out the Dana 30 and installed the Dana 44 HP. It took about 5 hours that included changing the steering box. All I need is the shocks from FiveNdime witch I'm picking up tonight and I need some misc stuff to complete it. It should all be done tomorrow. I will post pics when the front and back are installed. I can't wait.

Looks good. I like the setup of the compressor and air tank in the back. Report back on the MTR's. I know that my BFG's dug more in the snow and sand then either set of PROCOMP's I've had. And as cool as a spool is on a trail only rig they suck on the street! Good choice on going with the ARB.

your junk has really stepped up a notch. I think you made the right call on this set of axles but you knew it as the right option. Nice job on the switches. really coming together bud.

Thanks guy's I really like it so far. I have many things to do in the next couple weeks so there will be more photos. I just came a crossed a puddle of green stuff when I was at Woody's the other day (I think Tom put it there he was trying to get more money out of me.) Come to find out I should of changed the freeze plugs on the back of the block at the same time I did the others. I didn't think they would start leaking this early. I was waiting until I had the money to do the converter upgrade. But things don't always work out the way you want them to. I will be doing that Sunday along with some other things that need to be fixed. Thanks for all the nice words and I can't wait to see what it can do on the trail.
