This is the same add I have on Craigslist just copied and pasted.
What I have is a CJ3B siting on a 1971 CJ5 Frame, so it has been titled as a 71 CJ3B. It has a strong running Buick 225 V6 Oddfire, T18 4spd transmission with granny 1st. and new clutch, Fresh rebuilt Dana 20 transfer case, newer drivelines and U-Joints, open knuckle Dana 30 front with disk breaks (no locker), Dana 44 rear with welded spiders, Front shackle conversion, Rancho lift springs (sprung under axle), Powder Coated black custom front and rear bumpers, Hi-Lift mount on rear with storage rack, SW guages (fuel, amps, oil, water temp, tachometer all work fine) Speedometer gear just went out so it needs replacing on the transfer case otherwise it works fine, has brand new cable. Lights and signals works perfect, even hazards. Brakes are great, 4x4 works flawlessly. Solid body and frame. Frame has been braced in the weak spots. Good 32x9.50 TSL's on black steel wheels with allot of offset to keep the tires out further, it will fit 35's with a shackle lift. Full size spare bolted to custom tire rack on back. Line-X style stuff in the tub. Bright dome light. Marine waterproof stereo deck with cheap 6x9 speakers. Nice 6 point cage with integrated slits in cross tube for window defrost. Grab handles on cage. Plenty of lights up front and 2 bright ones for reverse all on switches. LED tail/brake/running lights. Power steering with new tubes and heim joints. Runs SUPER cool on the trails, 180 degrees is as hot as I have ever had it, I use cardboard in front of the radiator on cold days. Custom differential guards front and rear. Bikini top and super rare aluminum hard top (alone worth 600 bucks easy) I have no glass for it at the moment. Nice Cobra 19 DX IV CB with K40 lifetime warranty antenna, works flawlessly and reaches out very well. This thing is never in the rain unless I get caught in it. Its always kept in my garage. I JUST go the aluminum top all squared away and on. Tow bar with trailer plug up front for flat towing. Washington Classic license plates that never have to be renewed. Windshield wipers work I just have one arm for it though. Flow master exhaust in great shape and sounds very nice. Bike hand throttle on shifter, works good for steep hills. Drivers seat is adjustable forward and back and fender well has been notched for the longer legged folks. Battery relocated in back of passenger seat. New fluids in everything....axles, transmission, transfer case, brakes, coolant, power steering and oil all within the last 500 miles. I have a bunch of spare parts like valve covers, intake, heads, manifolds, junk like that. It has rare Holley aluminum valve cover on it now. I know I'm forgetting some stuff. Im asking 7000 cash for it and not much less so dont low ball me. No trades unless you have a nice low mile mid 90's ford diesel pickup (manual trans. extended cab or crew cab preferred). If its nice enough I will toss in the winch, which would make the deal 8K for ya. call # 360-903-9936
For the bads....or things that bug me.
Clutch linkage needs to be tightened up some how, I was going to put a hydraulic unit on it and call it good but never got around to it. Still drives just fine but the clutch is a little sensitive.
Wiring.....all works just fine but is hard to figure out with the stupid setup that's there. I managed to figure it out after a couple hours. Again it all works just fine. If I were to keep it for a long time I would use a Painless kit and call it good.
Shifter is bent.....ya know the arm part going into the transmission you shift with. I have no idea why its bent like it is but its annoying to me, but does its job just fine.
Its got some rock rash, scratches, which you will see if you come take a look.
Winch does not go with it, but can be purchased with it if wanted for an extra 1000 bucks. Its a new Warn 9.5 Ti
Heater needs core replaced or fixed....can be fixed, but the fan works great in all 3 speeds.
All in all its a great little Jeep, goes anywhere. I never beat on it, actually scared to beat on it because I dont want to dent it up or roll it or what have ya. Fun to drive around town, people always give you thumbs up and stare. Unique on the trails for sure, most likely never to see another on the trail. I wouldn't mind keeping it, and the wife is very set on not wanting me to sell it but I have a 1950 CJ3A I have had since I was a little kid (10) and want to finish it with this money so it must go. Here are some photos.....I can take a pic of anything you want just let me know, but seeing it in person is best. Pains me to sell.
