How hard is it to replace valve springs on a Jeep 4.0L ? Never done it and want to replace mine. TIA !

Its not hard at all if you have the tight tools.
Get the tool that allows you to used compressed air to hold the valves up and a valve spring compressor and your good to go.

Done ! Not hard at all.... ya right. Should have lisened to you anglebar, but noooooooooo I had to try the rope trick. Well the ol rope trick did not work ! Got the air adapter at Napa and I now have all new valve springs !

Glad it all worked out for you!
The trick with the rope is you need to roll the engine over by hand to where the piston is just below TDC. Install your rope into the spark plug hole, THEN you roll the motor to TDC and this keeps pressure on the valves, keeping them closed. Not sure if this is how you tried it or not but either way its much more difficult.
