Yeah!!!! Finally a chance to get my feet wet with the new trails. Do you get it?... Feet wet. It's a little play on words... It's suppose to rain... maybe???
Anyway, I will be there on Sat @ 7:45am rip raring to go. I love hacking stuff up... I'm going to pretend I'm in the Brazilian jungle looking for the illusive hick-up monkey. Don't ask... their very rare.
Always hanging by a thread!

Fiesty little buggers, and they like gummy worms. On a side not I will not be able to attend as I may have to work that day. If not I am going to be busy with other things so either way I cant make it. I hope you guys get allot done. What a great way to take out some aggression. Bring a machete!

There arent any elk around Jones Creek but you might want to wear orange.... I've always thought the same thing as well. It just never seemed like a popular elk habitat being so close to town, and how much activity goes on up there. However last week while scouting we actually ran into fresh sign right off the 1500rd. The dirt turned from the tracks was still loose, and well lets just say they left some gifts behind as well. There might not be a lot, but they are definitely out there. Come on out for a day. The section of trails we have marked is pretty impressive.

I have to apologize . I raised my hand to go both days but, I found out that I will need to spend the weekend pulling and replacing the motor in the CJ. Thought I was good to go, but more pressing issues arose.
Sorry. will make the next one.

Another wet and miserable day in the Yacolt Burn. Aside from the conditions, I feel we got a lot done. We followed a section of our ribbon trail, and cleared a path so at least now it's a semi-decent hiking trail. Also Tom (?), as we were pulling out I saw you left your bow saw on your tire. I picked it up, but didn't have a way to get your attention. Let me know how you want me to get it back to you.

Good times clearing the new trail. It was a wet muddy and foggy day in the forest. One step closer to getting the trail open. I wish i could do more to help. Thanks to all the people who've gotten us this far, keep up the good work. Le me know when the next work party is and I'll be happy to lend a hand. thanks Jeff
