The Timber Tamers 4x4 Club is once again putting on it's Team Trophy Challenge Washington event.
Last years event was called off due to lack of interest, but they are trying again for 2011.
The event will be taking place during October 8-9, 2011. The location is typically not revealed until a few weeks prior, but history shows it's usually in the Naches or Liberty areas. However, knowing the Timber Tamers they could throw us a curve ball this year and surprise us all.
This event combines everything from wheeling challenges, to navigation, to troubleshooting a mechanical failure.
From the Timber Tamers:
If you think you are a good wheeler, we will see..
We will challenge your vehicle and its capabilities.
We will challenge your team and its ability to think as a team.
We will challenge your teams preparedness to survive in a hostile environment.
We will challenge you both on the road and on the trail.
We will challenge your team to come up with unique fixes to common problems.
We will challenge you to find things with very little direction.
We will challenge you to finish at all!
We challenge you!
I'm posting this here to give everyone some time to think it over, and try and get a team together. I know for a fact Piston's Wild could produce several very competitive teams. Don't make me start calling people out.
I was registered to compete last year, but it was called off. I'm sure my team will be back to try again this year. Hope to see familiar faces out there.
