FORGET THIS THREAD! I got a bit ahead of myself! ...but cheap low pressure tire pressure gauges seem like a decent cheap little gift... The reason I though of this is because I was in the snow with a half a dozen very competent wheelers this weekend and everyone was running single digit pressures, but I was the ONLY one with a pressure gauge that read under 5lbs (that I happened to find )! All of these guys were locked and a few had beadlocks, but NO low pressure gauges! I know there are a ton of people that could use an inexpensive (or two or three) tire pressure gauge that they could give away, or it didn't matter (financially) if they ran one over, or someone accidentally kept it. Everybody on here knows somebody that wheels, or rides dirt bikes/ATV's or has a UTV... and they would probably like a spare gauge (if they already have one)

For what it's worth, I picked up a similar gauge at Tony's Auto parts for less than $2. I typically end up losing, or handing out my gauges so I stick with the inexpensive ones. The one I picked up goes from 1 to 20 psi in half pound increments. Nothing against Amazon, but I would be surprised if you couldn't find one locally. Also, another very inexpensive but super handy tool to have is a valve core remover. When you have a lot of air to get out, this will greatly speed up the process. Sorry for the hijack.

That's PERFECT! I just googled low pressure tires gauges and hadn't seen them that cheap in a long time. I have a nice older one from Longacre that they don't make anymore and a nice one from Joe's Racing, but I was just thinking for gifts. Thank you, now I don't have to wait to get them... I just wish I didn't spend all the time crunching numbers!

I asked and the only one that I found wouldn't even lift the needle when I stuck it on my tire, so the one that I had with me (that I ended up loaning out) was evidently a lower pressure unit. I apologize if I lumped you into the crowd. I guess I didn't head all the way back and ask you, so that wasn't fair of me to say.

Actually I was probably wrong on a few counts seeing as the other rig that had beadlocks probably had a low pressure gauge aswell... but that would've been quite the hike!
