Please welcome our new pony in the stable - - "Bruiser" We took him out for his first run in the forest yesterday and we were quite pleased. He had a little run-in with a well placed stump which earned him the cow bell - but otherwise performed quite well... "Bruiser's existing upgrades include the 6" Rock Crawler long arm suspension, brand new 37" Pro-Comps on 15" steel rims, 8.8 rear diff with a Detroit locker, Dana 30 front with an Aussie locker and a Mile Marker 12,000lb winch. Coming soon... Atlas II transfer case 5.0:1 G2 44 front end with 5:13 r&p ARB locker in the front Gen-Right full sport cage 37" BF Goodrich KM2's Still in limbo as to whether we want to spend the money on Trail Ready bead locks or just go with some Rock Crawler steel wheels. I will try to keep this thread updated with the build process...

Gen Right Sport Cage is in and ready to "roll" LOL - look out Pritchett Canyon . . . here we come! After a long weekend of Darel working in the shop and me not scheduling him out for other projects - the roll cage is in! Low cost welding blankets from Harbor Freight - waaaaaaay easier than pulling all of the interior... Now we have a family cage to protect the pups - or those who dare to ride with Darel... It is so much easier to get into now with those cool front grab handles - that 6" lift with 37's was going to be the death of me... Easy as pie for Darel, but the Gen-Right instructions were a little vague if someone lacking roll-cage experience was doing the install...

If your new Atlas is as tough as the shipping box/spray foam it showed up in you will be i good shape. It was all out war behind the counter trying to russal the beast out of there and only one of us survived. Can't wait to see the new rig in action after you finish it off with the new bling/s.

Bruiser's Big Build is scheduled for this weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Jan. 28, 29 & 30) at the Jondahl's. Club members and applicants are welcome to stop by and check out the progress. Please call before you stop by to make sure we are there (360) 606-1648. This Jeep has been Darel's dream for quite some time and I know the build will mean even more to him if he can share it with his friends... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Happiness is... G2 Currie 44 Front with 5:13's and ARB Selectable Locker and CTM joints (via Woody's 4x4 - Thanks Tom for keeping me within our budget!) Atlas II 5.0:1 Transfer Case from Advance Adapters (via Woody's 4x4 - Thanks Paul!) Tom, I know you ordered this for me, but I really feel that Paul should get the credit based on earlier events.17" Steel "Soft 8" Bead Lock Wheels with Black Anodized rock rings (via Trail Ready) Thanks Larry for a great price and availability on EXACTLY the product we wanted! 37x12.50x17 BFG KM2's courtesy of BF Goodrich Outstanding Trails Program (Special thanks to Josh @ 4-Wheel Parts for providing a shipping destination and for helping me to hunt up #5 to complete the set) With his shiny new WARN scissor snatch-block, Bruiser is almost ready to go pull some more deadbeat vehicles out of the forest. (Thanks Josh and 4-Wheel Parts for the great deal on the block. Now quit trying to sell me that silly ARB recovery kit and find me a good recovery strap!)I predict that 2011 is going to be a great year to be " Jeep People" ! WE SUPPORT OUR LOCAL MANUFACTURERS AND DISTRIBUTORS WHO SUPPORT OUR SPORT!
