I was thinking of snow wheeling this weekend. What's the snow elevation & snow depth in SW Washington? I was thinking of Gifford Pinochet in Scamania/ Clark/ Cowitts county areas- maybe leave from Woodland or BG. Thinking of a snow run tonight ( Friday). BTW all planned travel will be on or above legal roadways. Cheers. Toyrocs

[ Now I see why you like spring snow wheeling. ] Torx, do you think the snow lost about 6" in the last week? Would it be worth while to run the mini snow XXXXXXX in this area? Or maybe just "can it" until the next big snow storm event? Cheers. Toyrocs

Between New Years and last weekend, it looked like we lost about 1 1/2 - 2 ft. Once again it's been pretty warm this week, so unfortunately more has probably melted off since then.
With the current conditions I would say the Mini Monster would be overkill. Wait for a good snow fall, and then bring that thing out. You'd probably have some fun in the TJ now though. It's pretty wet and heavy snow, but with the right technique you can make progress in it.
I'll be up there Saturday-Sunday snow camping with some others. I know it's late notice but if anyone's interested let me know.
