I know you cant 4x4 on them but are quads and dirtbikes allowed on the trails past the gates. if they are wow finding my jeep would be a lot less work and way faster

I've alerted my contacts at DNR to keep an eye out for it and they are supposed to stop it if they see it in the forest. (Note: DNR reads our forum, saw your post and the picture of your Jeep)

my buddy hikes the trails to stay in shape and said he found a few vehicals and is going back up today to see if on of them is mine. i hiked around yesterday and found some tj flares and a daylighter

Ross told me one of you guys lost a jeep...there's one fairly recently dumped up at the yellow gate above four corners heading to the radio tower. It looks to me like the cherokee style, black. If that location doesn't mean anything to you email or PM me and I can tell you how to get there.... Hope that is helpful....

My family and i went up and checked it out. Its not either of the cherokees that i know of that have been stolen. Thank you for the heads up and i hope they catch these guys that are steeling them. Its not right and they should be caught.

The only way to cut down or stop the theft and vandalism up there is routine night patrols by the cops, especially on the weekends because that's when the fun stuff happens up there for the most part. Unfortunately the logistics of getting several agencies in one spot to make that happen are pretty tough to get past. I think it's doable though...and if it got done on even half of the weekend evenings throughout the summer it would seriously curtail the damage. Mike
