Jones Creek has a work party planned for this Saturday the 22nd.
I am going to go up there and show some support for them and fly our colors.
We are sharing these trails and a good relationship with them is important. We should give them a hand whenever we can.
This weekend.. I Can. Anyone want to join me.. and them... ?
I hope I am not the only Pistons Wild Member up there. Post up if you can be there too. Saturday.. 9 AM Jones Creek Trailhead.

I just spoke with Dave and he asked me to post that he is sorry, but he is unable to attend tomorrow's JCTRA work party because he does not have an ATV to ride into the trails where the actual work is taking place.
He would have posted this himself, but he is working and will not have access to a computer until tomorrow morning.

i would come out and give a hand, but my ohv selection is limited to larger 4x4s that tow ATVs... and i have church saturday mornings. other wise from say like noon on i would be free. i was out there this morning driving the 1500-1510, and 1000 road(s) and notices a ton of shell casings(mainly shotgun) and a few TVs and computer monitors, signs and other larger items just tossed out on the side of the road where people had been shooting, even a few bags of trash. that didnt so much bother me as thats unfortunately all too typical, but what did grind my gears was i noticed several areas where people had decided it was a great idea to "make a new trail" and just go tearing up the hillside with their 4wd and yeah, awesome! anyhow when i got to cell service i called one of the CCSO deputies i know who works the hockinson and larch areas and gave him a heads up, but as we all know with out seeing a culprit the act not much they can do other than note it.

Crystal FYI, in the future we can almost always find a way to get a few volunteers (without ATVs or Dirt Bikes) out to the job site. If you get a hold of me ahead of time I can usually make arrangements. Usually those arrangements involve getting to ride in the bed of one of our 6X6's A big thanks to the PW members (Bill H and fiend) who came out to help today. We always need all the help we can get.

Friend....IE FiveNdime....IE....Me Joey ;D. Mike is right. we actually had a couple that volunteered to help us even though they weren't up there for the work party. They ended up riding in the quads with us and helping along side us. They were a big help....and for the life of me I cant remember there names but want to say thank you to him and his wife!

That was fun Mike and Ed, would love to help anytime I can. Glad we could help with that quad winch out. It's always fun to help someone get out of a bad situation. It was also good to get out and brush the "A" trail coming back into the staging area. It really needed it. Your section was looking great Mike. I hope the illegal 4x4ing stops in those areas you blocked off. Hope to help out in the near future. See you on the trails.
