Senate Bill 6080 addresses proposed legislation with regards to landowner immunity from liability; liability protection offered under the statute is not absolute; see attachment for additional information. Summary: This should be better for recreation if the level of risk is lessened for property owners who make their lands available for recreation. Additionally, landowners who intentionally injure recreational users receive no protection. Attachments:

Additionally, landowners who intentionally injure recreational users receive no protection. I think some of this is good and some is bad. I have always thought that there needs to be some common sense in this country. Meaning in this case if you use off-road vehicles then you might get hurt. If you get hurt it shouldn't be the land owners fault you were hurt. We all put our selves in danger when we go play and that's the name of the game no matter how good of driver you are. Although I don't think its okay for the land owner to have complete immunity if they are intentionally trying to hurt someone. I wish everything could just be fair across the board.

Thanks for posting.
I might have done a poor job of wording my summary...
This proposal would NOT provide any immunity to landowners who intentionally harm recreation users.
