Daryl got all giddy and put it on my rig. The strap was for the slow pull since I didn't want to rail on it with a busted up front. I however wasn't stuck or did get stuck but broke, AND I drove it off the mountain ;D So the cowbell actually belongs to another victim!! I was just so exhausted and mentally fatigued that I didn't even bother with taking it off haha.

if there is any confusion to who the bell actually belongs to, i might be able to clear that up...
oh oh and i think someone should make a motion to declare that that and "event" should constitute as an official Pistons Wild club run... as at least 6 members where out there for this shindig... and there for i just need a work party and im officially in... just saying

Having club members come to the rescue does no constitute as a club run..... Good try though. ;D

Not to bash on you thekid but when I found out you were out there alone I thought of this post. Re: >It's Snow Time Again< « Reply #4 on Dec 4, 2011, 6:08pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- to second this, i dont know how many times as a member of search and rescue i have seen this kinda of stuff. from experienced hunters and hikers to families out for a saturday afternoon hike... some should know better, some should stay at home and turn on the TV and watch nature there for their own safety and ours... just saying that if i have to come out and find anyone of you guys for doing something like going wheeling alone or some other form of ridiculousness that wakes me up at 2am to go look for you, when i find you i will slap you and and tell you to go sit in the corner... we all should know better, and we all know people who have done this and should of known better(i too have done this -went wheeling alone and got stuck, had to leave my truck as i had nothing to sustain myself overnight, and hike to the "main" road where i was lucky to have some couple out looking for christmas trees run across me and give me a ride back to my house. i was then able to called some friends and convince them come out and recover my truck.... long story short it was a long night of setting and resetting winch lines and slinging loading/attaching a winch to my truck as no one else was dumb enough to drive into where i was...). learn from us, save you self some grief, time and ulcers and just go prepared as stated above in the OPs(wyldman) statements. any one of us will come out to help you but we will all be much more happy if its not an emergency situation, and you are not alone or ill prepared. I have decided as of right this second to start practicing NOT blatantly typing whatever I feel about the (situation/people that got stuck! with their kids! (right?) alone! in the snow! on the mountain) involved. However I do get bored easily and can not guaranty how long this will last. Ryan I think it's safe to say those of us that read his post from a few months ago and remembered it found "the event" (non-club run, pass the mustard) comical.
See it happened I re-read my post got bored and added a bunch of stuff that someone might regret someday. ( not me)

Thanks for being a good sport, Isaac. We kid "thekid" because we care . . . In regards to this being an official club run - probably not gonna happen. Official club runs have to be pre-planned so everyone has a chance to attend and/or an opportunity to " point and laugh". Nice try though - see you tonight... Crystal
