Hello all. My name is Curt and my nickname is Shaggy. I've recently purchased an offroad project after about 8 years of being inactive in the world of offroad. I've had lots of Jeeps, a couple Blazers and my last one was a Samurai. I picked up this new project intending on getting another samurai, but I got into the blazer for really cheap from a co-worker and it has perks. ;D 14bolt FF rear and 3/4 ton 44 front with passenger flat top knuckle. I've been working for Fast Specialties in Vancouver as a tech and fab tech for the last year and 5 months, which is why I am finally able to get a new project started. I'm excited to start this project because of the tools at my disposal I've never had access to before like plasma, JD2 bender, mig/tig, torch and notcher etc... I will make a thread for the build preparation soon if ya'll are interested in checking it out.. The actual build will be slow for a little though while I must warn because one of our cars spit a timing belt and I'm paying on time on the k5 so I don't want to start cutting and hacking just yet Planning and drawing for any major mods. Thank you for having an active forum to become a part of, I searched a lot last night and just found a bunch of really old posts and pictures from the sites I used to frequent. Shaggy Attachments:

Dave. A co-worker told me about that project on Friday pizza day at work from Benny's hodrod pizza. That is really cool that trails are close to being established. I've lived in Fern Prarie since I was 2 years old for many years.. I've lived other places, but now I am back here and 1/2 mile from the store. I will definately be up for trail improvement or creating. One thing my Dad told me as a child when we were up in the woods was "Take a good look around son...This place may not be here when you are my age". I'm glad it still is, and my Dad can roll with me sometime to check it out with me driving Thanks for all the welcome posts also.. Shaggy

thanks.. it looks good on the outside, but inside is all project mode.. Good news I didn't add to the build report is the PO offered up the LS based 5.3L that is bolted into it at the moment fer a little extra cash.. I think I might take him up cause it is a solid engine and if I ever want more hp than a 350 or 383ci can be built to, it is just a few mods away.
