It’s good to know that along with our Yacolt Burn Trails system that we are working on with people in SW Washington. There are also new trail systems being built in NW Oregon. This is all great new for the 4-Wheel Drive community.

If you are interested in volunteering to build trails in La Dee Flats, we need your help!
We have gained approval to begin construction of one of the trails in the mid July time frame. This trail will be a moderate difficulty level, class II trail, that will end up being approximately 2 miles in length. This is the first of several trails we will be building.
As part of the agreement that we have with both the USFS and our trail designer (who is volunteering his own personal time to this project), it is being required that all volunteers attend a trail tour at Tillamook State Forest to see how a successful, sustainable and challenging trail system can be built.
If you are interested in helping us build trails in La Dee, please attend a tour of some of the newly opened trails in TSF on June 24th at 10:00 AM. We will be meeting at the Lee's Camp Store which is located at
48400 Wilson River Highway
Tillamook, OR 97141
We will be leaving promptly at 10:00, so please arrive early, grab a donut and a cup of Joe and hang out and chat a bit. I recommend arriving no later than 9:45
In order to create trails in the MT Hood National Forest we will need the support of many volunteers, in the shape of equipment, equipment operators, manual labor, fuel donations, and strong Class II user support. I've personally been attending meetings for over 2 years discussing this "project" and am very excited to finally be able to start breaking ground. I wont be able to do it on my own, and hope I can count on your support.

Or bump this thread and I will get back to you.
Thanks for the interest and I appreciate the support in helping me open this new, legal, class II area in the NW.
If you have any questions about the trail system and prefer not to post on their forum or cant because you don't have a login then post up and I will get them answered for you.
