Hi folks,
We need your help. DNR's recreation program staff have been preparing grant applications to improve recreation on state lands.
We need letters of support that show grant reviewers just how important recreation improvement projects are for users. Your letters help improve our chances of receiving grant funding.
The deadline for letters is just two weeks away, June 22.

Grants allow DNR to replace failing bridges, develop new trails, and renovate campgrounds. The recreation team is applying for 38 grants, including Recreation Trail Program (RTP) and Nonhighway and Off-road Vehicle Activities (NOVA) grants.
Click here for a list of grants you can support.
Here is how you can help. Letters of support are important to grant reviewers. If you would like to support one or more of these grant applications, you can send a letter to the contact person listed with each project. The contact person can also provide more details on the project proposals. Be sure to include the project number in your letter. The most effective letters of support explain why a project is important to you as a recreationist.
The deadline to send in your letters is June 22.
We appreciate your support.
