Recently, someone asked me how many eligible volunteer hours are needed to qualify for a free Discover Pass. I incorrectly indicated that you needed 40 hours - that was what originally was required for a free pass. This latest DNR News release confirms that only 24 hours are needed now - this is a direct result of the recreation user groups providing feedback and getting the results they requested. Yea!
That is good news - some of you may already be elibible for your Free Discover Passes - I know that with our eligible hours from the 2011 Pick Up the Burn and our eligible hours from the past two weekends - Darel and I both have earned our Free Passes.
How about you?

My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body... But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... WOW! What a Wild Ride!
ExCabSwap: The wind there looks horrible... Still worth it haha

poorboy: Can somebody give me the official rules for the Cowbell please?
May 8, 2016 15:26:47 GMT -8
Wyldman: The Cowbell... If you are a club member and you're on one of our wheelin' trips. If you get stuck on an obstacle and have to be pulled out by your winch or someone elses winch/strap. You earn the Cowbell.

poorboy: Wyldman, I got to see the passing of the bell at the meeting and learned quite a bit about the tradition.
