I live in Fern Prairie, so on our way home from getting my sons haircut we decided to drive up to the snow line, throw a couple snowballs and come back. Decided to go the Jones Creek side for some reason. Passing through the trailhead parking lot we seen a jeep being loaded onto a flat bed tow truck with a smashed roof. Fast forward to on our way back down I stopped in same spot to un-lock hubs and seen the glass and antifreeze on the ground right at the end of some burn out marks... so my guess is he was doing cookies in the parking lot and rolled. On our way up to the snow line we came around this corner and seen a couch... on the other side of the road down the bank was a bunch of other junk almost into the crick... bastards. Bunch of tires too. I wish someones critter cam would catch even one of these asshats sometime. Lots of folk up there shooting guns.. Nothing really out of the ordinary there, except all the garbage left all over as targets and shells looked pretty eyesore. Anyhow, we finally found the first snow across the road and drove up to the next dry patch to turn around.. Pulled off to the side and played for a minute or two and back down the hill. I pointed out to my son how very wrong our bad findings were and just like when my Dad took me for a drive in the hills when I was young, told him how disapointed I was in people. Hope he learned from it like I did when I was young. Anyhow, thought I'd share our hour long trip. Shaggy Attachments:

Thats a bummer that that seems to be the normal thing when one goes up there.

It got me thinking about ways to prevent it.. It would be cool to get the law (the man) to catch even just one guy/gal dumping, hit them with the full max penalty and have it make the news... It would be even cooler if they also mentioned that more patrols would be making random trips up there to look around whether it was going to be done or not.
