Okay here is more.
In case you missed the club meeting or you were not paying attention. Here is the plan.
Friday night: Arrive at Browns Camp and set up. Hang out, have a camp fire and shenanigans. Tommy is tossing around the idea of heading down early to try and secure the group site. If people want to go night wheeling feel free. I'm out.
Saturday: Roll out of camp at 9:00 am sharp. We will be loaded up for a day of trail work and light wheeling. Saturday would be a great day for the ladies to drive. This will free the guys up to work ;D The intent will be to "work as we go" on any and all trails we are on. If you see trash, stop and pick it up. If you see a hole or rut and some gravel that you can fill it with. DO IT! Branch in the way? Trim it. You get the message? Then we have a few items to take care of on University Firepower. I would like a few people to walk the up and down hill at the beginning and clear branches and such. We'll work our way through section one and onto section two. Cleaning as we go. In section three there is a stump that we think needs to be relieved. At the end of section three we need to drag a few boulders, stumps and debris along side of the trail in order to stop unwanted travel through the forest.
We will then head to Cedar tree to do the same cleaning as we go and so on. You should pack a lunch and everything you need to stay happy all day. I don't think this will be a long day. I could see us getting back to camp in the early afternoon. I know of at least 3 smaller kids that will be with us and I can't imagine they will last all day. If people want to go back out feel free. I'm out.
Sunday I plan on wheeling some harder stuff. Thinking the route I've talked about before but didn't run: 7 up to Hogs Back to Archers to include Rocky Uphill (down), Can Opener, Waterfall and the Rock Garden. I'm flexible though. What do you want to do.
Then pack up and go home.

You may want to check, but Archers and Hogs back were closed 2 weeks ago due to logging.

Sunday for sure. Working on getting Saturday off and unsure weather on or two nights in the woods sounds better at that point

Well if my back feels good in the morning, I will be there on Saturday to help with the project. I wasn't going to bring my Jeep. Is there anyone with an extra seat I can borrow. I can bring some tools if needed. Looking forward to a day in the woods.

Sorry that I didn't make it out to help. I hurt my back at work on Thursday and it didn't feel very good Saturday morning. I hope everything went well. See you next time.
