so while waiting for my t-case, the gear set is not available until 2015, i am having some tube work done, front and rear bumpers and a x-o over the cab & so on & so on

Awesome! I'm not sure if I can still get it, but about a month ago, one of my steel suppliers was trying to get rid of a bunch of 2" .250 DOM... It was about $50 for a 20 or 21 foot stick... pretty cheap, but it's so big, I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in something that heavy for their pickup... It's probably still there, because it was kind of hidden in the steel yard..

that would be good slider material. i would take a stick of that if you can still get it.

OK! I'll swing by there and check it out... I'll have to have them cut it so it fits in the bed of my pickup.. Would you prefer like a 10' and an 11' or just half and half? Or does it even matter? three 6' and the left over?

It's probably still there, because it was kind of hidden in the steel yard.. Verify it is in fact DOM tubing and not PIPE. Measure the O.D. 2" exact is tubing pipe is measured by the I.D.
