I am hosting Decembers club run. Like always I do a Christmas tree run every December. We do this so the club can get out and possibly get into some snow. Also if your so inclined get a tree for the holiday season. I have heard that tree tags have gone up but its not confirmed at the moment. I will try and have that answer for our November meeting which is tomorrow night. We will meet up at Chelatchee Prarie store at 9am. We will then head out north to get a tree. The location has not been picked out yet but will be before we leave that morning. This run usually only takes a half of day but we have also stayed out late into the night trying to get out. It depends on the conditions. So plan on a whole day and we will see what happens. I will have a tree saw and an ax if anyone wants to use them. I don't bring a chain saw because I like the experience of doing it the old fashion way. I look forward to seeing you all there in good spirits and ready to have a good time. More info to come!

Christmas tree permits are $5 and can be bought at the Chelatchee Prairie Store. Or you can buy them in advance at a forest service office after November 13th. I found this info at www.fs.usda.gov/detail/giffordpinchot/news-events/?cid=STELPRDB5439840If you have any questions regarding this info please contact me or call a forest service office. The Chelatchee Prairie store is located at 42411 NE Yale Bridge Rd, Amboy, WA. If you would like to meet up with me in battle ground meet me at Safeway in Battle Ground at 904 W Main St, Battle Ground. I will be leaving there at 8am. If you wanting to meet me there please post up so I know who to expect.
