Yesterday Dave Hines, James, Trika, and I went up to TSF for the day. First thing we did was check on the gates at University Firepower. Things were looking good there.
We then ran a short section of powerline
There was this awesome van on the trails
And now that Im looking at this picture again, is that a 4door CJ in the back ground?
Then we ran the rest of University Firepower
After that we went over to Firebreak 5.
We all walked up the first section with ease
The first section dries out a lot faster now that the west side of the trail has been logged
Then on to the section section which is nothing but a sloppy rocky mess!!! I was first up and boy oh boy did I make it look difficult.
Then it was James turn.
And with only one locker, the wrong wheel base, lots of throttle, poor spotting for me, and lots and lots of tries we finally got James through the mess that I helped create.
And then it was Dave's turn. And he walked right up it like it was a paved road.
Mud on the spare tire
Mud on the top of the bed
After section two of Firebreak James and Trika headed back to town. Dave and I finished the rest of Firebreak 5
After Firebreak we started heading to Hogsback. On the way there we saw that the gate to Airplane hill was open. So we gave it a go through the filters.
Dave coming out the top filter. My buddy Jared spotting him.
We then ran over to Hogsback where we found that there is a new section of trail at the end. And then over to Rocky Uphill to Archers and followed that to Waterfall. We looked at Waterfall for a minute then decided to bypass it and keep following Archers through the Rock Garden and over to the V-notch.
Dave coming down the V-notch
Headed back up
After the V-notch we ran gravel back through Lyda Camp, past the prison, and back out to Hwy 6 where we stopped to air back up.
