After months of comments about the horrible exhaust leak, I decided to do something about it...

The nice thing about fixing the exhaust leak is that you wont get all loopy while driving.

Time for an update!
So, in no particular order, here’s some stuff I’ve done…
Yesterday, I got my lights done… MUCH NEEDED!
(blind pic)
I had these housings:
Just had the Sylvainia (spelling?) super bright OEM style lights in there… LEDs were a HUGE difference!
On the left, the Sylvainia, On the right, LEDs!
I’m actually wanting to hook them up to an aux switch so that I have some play lights for camping! Yeah, they’re that bright…
Anyway, also put LEDs in my running lights, and HIDs and new headlamps so that I could see (the jeeps passing me? no, that can't be right )
These are awesome! That feeling you get when people flash you (the guys at Headlights NW actually calibrated the headlights, so I know I'm legal) and when you flash them back.. haha... happened a couple times tonight!
Anyway, took a little trip this morning:
So beautiful up there!
Also... another reason why we can't have nice things:
This is the sign to the west of the Deer Pen (deer pin? Deerpin?) trail exit... So stupid that this is still happening...
Saw a couple shooters, and talked to them... and no surprise that they both ignored me... Wish I had direct contact with a ranger so that I could have reported them... I LOVE shooting... I freaking sell shooting targets... But it sure beats me why people don't listen to reason. I mean, I explicitly said that I was going to be just beyond the ridge one of the guys was shooting at... "well, if I miss the mountain, that's pretty bad" ...yeah, no $#!7 it's bad... I asked, "Would you feel safe if I went on the other side, and started shooting toward you?" ...Him: "well... no, not really"...
...ugh...
OH! almost forgot to share this:
This was the second flat, and after that I was done... Took them back to Discount Tire and upgraded to these:
These things are so awesome! They're hungry!
I freaking love them! ...Well, until this morning...
Yeah, no idea what happened to them... I didn't notice it until I was disengaging my hubs this morning coming off the mountain... It was pretty dark where I was at when I engaged them, so I didn't notice if it was already cut or not... but not to worry, Discount Tire came through, and I have one on order...
A family member gave me this
So I'm going to sell the boat, and turn the trailer into a camping/off road trailer... Well, I'd like to haha...
You guys remember how capable I was at Elbe with open diffs?
Well...
I pulled the trigger on a locker! Sweetest thing is, ARB is giving away a free compressor with the purchase of a locker (you get the larger version if you buy 2 lockers)
I know I don't need the compressor, but I'd rather have the locker and compressor in it's own closed system. Then I can postpone spending another $100+ on a serious coalescing filter haha...
Anyone know of a good mounting spot on a standard cab yoda? I'm thinking bolted under the bed... if you're lying beneath the drive-line, it's above it and to the side, tucked up against the gas tank... That seemed like an ok spot until I realized I'd have to run an intake line to the engine bay in case I'm in water and I need the locker...
Well, I think that's it for now... I'm pretty stoked... A little worried about tearing out my 3rd member, but in the end, I know it'll be worth the work!

Looks like you've been busy.
And having really bad luck with tires!!!!
I guess that your tries are getting scared of all of the upcoming traction in your future so they are looking for an easy way out!
Good choice on the ARB.

Well, I give the credit to Discount Tire for being so awesome with their customers! They replaced the KM2, and transferred over the warranty to the new tire, no charges for any of the labor... They really know how to provide great service!
In other news, I just picked this up:
The canopy is about an inch or so taller than the cab, but for the price, and to finally find one that fit, I couldn't say no!
It's like a whole new truck!
Definitely need to grab a half pack of leafs, and jam them in haha!
...Anyone have some leafs lying around?
Oh, and if anyone is interested, I still have this sweet Toolbox... It's got brand new locks and shocks!

Lol, yup... as soon as I replace the weather stripping... Ran through the Camas rinse-off for a quick 'seep test' and there's a few spots where water seeps in...
I figured that, since the guy I bought it from and I just put it on to transport it back home... I'd like to build a couple heavy duty drawers in the bed, and elevate the sleeping platform above the wheel wells so that it's a bit wider if needed...
Loads of work left!

First off congrats and thanks on the locker purchase!
Second, you have really bad luck with tires. Good on discount for taking care of you but to place blame on the tire because it caught a screw and you got a flat that's kinda silly.
Your truck is coming along nicely though!

Good on discount for taking care of you but to place blame on the tire because it caught a screw and you got a flat that's kinda silly. Your truck is coming along nicely though! Lol, well, the KO2s are what I originally wanted.. But since they don't make them in 31x15, I went with KM2s. The KM2s were on back order for a few weeks, so I bought the duratracs, and a few days later ordered the KM2s using the 30 day ride guarantee since it was only about $10 difference per tire.. They were about a month out, ordered from las Vegas.. And while I was waiting for them to arrive, I got a face puncture (may or may not have been from a large rock on larch mtn...) And then the screw... The reason I said that I was fine was because I could have kept the duratracs, but decided to switch to the KM2s.. Then the slash in the KM2s.. (May or may not have been from sliding off a rock on larch mtn)... Lol.. So discount tire is AWESOME! ...Just be sure to get the replacement warranty on your tires lol... I guess now I'm just trying to find the right location for these two new arb switches that won't be an inconvenience.. 1st world problems... Haha

Switches... You dont need no stinking switches!!!! Just wire up the compressor and the locker to the ignition so they are running whenever the truck is running!!! LOL

With that ability to run air tools your Toyota could become a Mobile trail side repair vehicle. Have you had a chance to test out the locker yet? I know of some rocks that you could go test it out on ?
