All I can base my opinion on was the last time I was up there which was in March. Which was also the first and only time ive run these trails. Then it was a very mild trail system. The two rock out cropping were options that we took. I am sure someone would be happy to help you get around them and back to the crossing so you could park and walk in and watch others traverse them. So now that you know what I know you can weigh your options. As always trails can change and there is always the possibility that things will not run smoothly. if someone brakes it can make for a long day. Make sure she has stuff to stay warm/dry, fed, entertained etc.

I'm planning on making this trip and have an invite out to a couple of my work buddies that have been out with our group before... Since they're coming from Portland and won't be meeting at Burgerville in Vancouver, what time are we planning on meeting at the trail head?
Looking forward to a day in the woods with everyone.

Me too. Thanks for your help with the brakes. My coworker that is riding shotgun was excited to hear "they should work all day"
I talked to a guy at mid Columbia motorsports and marine about parking trailer across the street from their business. There is a large gravel area that semi's park often overnight. He is checking into whom might know it and verifying it is alright. also Adam Underhill texted me saying there was snow on the road up to the day use and trailering up may be a challenge. He suggested another gravel turn out that is used by semi's often. So we have options I will decide which one in the next few days but both are literally on the way up. Also Adam was happy to hear we are headed up there and will be joining us again.

I will be bringing a small BBQ for a hot lunch, if anyone wants to have a hotdog or burger. Can anyone bring an "easy up" in case it is pouring buckets? See You on the Trail!

I plan to go. I want to trailer. Will we start and finish at the same place making trailering possible? Don

Yes Don trailering is an option; I will be. The trail is a loop. The only caveat would be if there is enough snow on the road up we will park trailers about 5 mile from the resivoir and drive up to it in our rigs. Make the loop then drive the rigs back down the hill, load up and headed out.

I really wanted to make it, but due to this oil pressure sensor failure, I'm not going to go.
I want to get that working before I go on a run. If it were something less vital, I'd go.
I also don't want to be 'that guy' who you have to constantly winch because I don't have my own winch... plus I'm open diffs...
Have fun! I can't wait to see the videos/pics!
