So at 5 am this morning I backed the Jeepster into a fence post because I have no reverse lights. I've been flopping back and forth between traditional KC lights and the fancy LED lights for both ends of my Jeep. Who on here has experience with both kinds of lights? Pros/cons? Likes/dislikes? Thanx for your input, Shawn

I wasn't sure if it was a metal fence post or concrete or wood... Wanted to make sure you're not having to do any body work..

store.bulldogledlighting.com/4-inch-LED-Light-Bar-Single-Row-p/4s.htmThe led lighting is awesome. I prefer the Bulldog LED lights, not only because I work with them, but because they are the only led off road light made AND sourced in the USA. I have a set of their 2" spikes mounted on my windshield brackets and love them and they light up the night. I am excited to mount my 10 & 50 bars!! But there are a number of sweet leds out right now, be very wary of the influx of cheap imported lights... very short life span vs a name brand. my .02.

Also forgot to mention how much abuse they take vs a std halogen like a KC or PIAA. Lenses are more imapct/rock resistant, bodys are beefier and did I mention they are very sexy.... I have to mention too that ARBs new LED product are pretty bad to the bone as well... dont know if they have a smaller back up style light yet though...

I hadn't thought about toughness of lenses, among the other good points you brought up...thank you.

LED Daryl, I was fortunate enough to witness your lights while the "pit crew" worked on the WJ, and they were awesome in 20-30 foot range. How are they long range? Say around 150 feet?

The lower lights that I was using to light up out work area the other night are floods. The small one on the windshield are spots and will light up the trail very well.

For those that do have factory backup lights, I got some 55w halogen 1156's at Batteries Plus. I love them. They really light up stuff!
