I just got word from our October club run host and he will not be able to put together a trip this month.
I was hoping a club member would be interested in hosting October's run.
Sounds like Phil will be hosting October's club run.
Location. Tillamook State forest Date. October 22nd, Saturday Time. 9 am Meeting place. Rogers camp or Browns camp day use ? (Your call Phil)
Thanks

Sounds like a great opportunity for a club run that doesn't require 37's and lockers

The Washington Backcountry Discovery route could be an option for the non-hardcore wheelers. A good loop is Bridge of the gods to Packwood, WA, stopping by the Guler Ice caves.
I have a pdf of the route if anyone is interested. Email me at sr.mmacarthur@gmail.com if you want it.

Be Prepared for rain. Not sure how reliable the forecast is that far out, but this time of year it's more likely than not. Also, who has the cowbell? I'd love to earn it this trip

It was made apparent to me today during the work part that there's a poker run on the 22nd at Brown's Camp. Paul suggested I look into joining up with them, so I contacted the organizer of the event, Josh Jones. He said that he'd be happy to have us join. He also said that we can stay as a group within the poker run. Here's the flyer: It says on the flyer that we missed the early registration, but Josh says $40.00 will work for us as long as we can make a commitment to go within a few days. The orders for shirts and hoodies is closed, but he said that they bought extra that they'll be selling at the event. Also, seems like they've got quite a few raffle prizes. He said in the past that they've had a couple winches, welders, ARB recovery kits, and prizes for all kids. So, if you can go ahead and commit here, I'll send the list Josh once we get a final count. Also, a number of kids will ensure they get prizes too. As of last night when I talked to him, there were about 30 entries left.

The Halloween Poker run is a good time. Carmmal and I will be there. The one thing that I would recommend is that we meet up at Browns Camp around 7am because of how packed the parking lot gets during an event. See you on the 22nd.
Daryl.

Great idea! I'll convoy out with you and help secure some extra space for trailers. If the main parking lot is full, I'll be depending on you're experience to relocate us to an available lot. CB channel 22 if we have to change location.
So far I've got 2 vehicles confirmed including my own. I would like to be able to tell Josh our committed attendance by the 12th.

Yes there is. Current roster: Daryl - 1 vehicle - COA Don - 1 vehicle - COA Phil - 1 vehicle - COA Zac - 1 vehicle - No Pay mondo - Just need to know how many vehicles and if you're planning on paying on arrival that's fine, just need to know to tell Josh. Annel and Tommy were a maybe. Any update? I'm trying to get the cowbell, but I haven't gotten a hold of the Winter's yet.
