I would like to start off by saying. This club needs to hold to the practice of "All in All out" motto. That's to say, we need to make sure we see everyone that is a part of the group stay together while out enjoying our adventure. Whatever that adventure is. So that if there is a problem, we can attempt fix it.
This is a list of "essential items" for Class II vehicles(Jeeps, Trucks, Buggys ect...) I believe everyone should carry with them when out wheeling, whether by yourself or with a group.
Essentials: A vehicle that is up to proper operating condition. (make sure that the vehicle doesn't have preexisting problems such as over heating, charging, bad starter and other mechanical problems.) Spare Tire w/ proper tools to change it Common tools w/ Vehicle Specific Tools First-Aid kit Fire Extinguisher Recovery points properly mounted to the vehicle Front and Rear Properly rated recovery strap 2 Large clevis's Flat tire repair kit Flash Light Work Gloves CB, Cell Phone or HAM radio ( some form of communication device) A Willing Heart to have a Great Time
Non Essential: Change of Clothes Large heavy duty blanket Vehicle lubricating oils (ei motor, transmission, t-case and differential oils) Trash Bag (pack out what you pack in and more) Extra vehicle parts (ei U-joints, axle shafts, pinion yokes ect...) Jumper Cables Hi-Lift Jack Come-a-Long
These are some of a few thing that come mind. Feel free to add to the lists.
Until next time... Enjoy Wyldman

I wanted to resurrect this thread because Wyldman's list should be read by everyone on this forum. Two things I would add to the list: -Drinking water -Peanuts or Jerky

This is a great list. And having been in a few tight spots in the last few weeks, I would add straps, bungees or large zip ties to the required list. A JK with a broken selector shaft is easier to move around with the goods not grinding in the dirt... (ALSO, not my JK) ;-)
