Like my user name say I am Poorboy 42. So like it says I'm BROKE with 3 kids & but they like to go wheeling in my ZJ. I need a Wrangler roll cage for inside my ZJ. I looked at the factory dimensions & I think with little modifications it will work. I would really like a JK 4dr but I know I'm shooting in the dark. Especially for free but I know they take up room so if you're sick of looking at your old one taking up space let me know. I'm in Vancouver, WA. I can also do a 1st gen 4Runner, I know those fit great if you make posts, But the tubing walls to really thin.
FYI the JK factory roll bars are not removable. They are welded in from the factory. A couple pieces can be taken out but the main structure is welded to the tub. So even if you find someone doing a custom piece the factory parts will most likely get butchered on their way out.
Even if you're short on cash. Id keep saving my money and do it right. Factory rolls bars in the jeeps were not meant for the weight of a ZJ in a roll over and the tubing is quite large to be used in the interior. Risking taking up head room. Plus like you mentioned those are fairly thin tubing as well.

poorboy: Can somebody give me the official rules for the Cowbell please?

Wyldman: The Cowbell... If you are a club member and you're on one of our wheelin' trips. If you get stuck on an obstacle and have to be pulled out by your winch or someone elses winch/strap. You earn the Cowbell.

poorboy: Wyldman, I got to see the passing of the bell at the meeting and learned quite a bit about the tradition.
