YACOLT UPDATE!
YACOLT BURN OHV TRAILS ARE CLOSED December 1st, 2018 – April 30th, 2019
YACOLT BURN OHV TRAILS WILL REOPEN on May 1st, 2019
STAY TUNED! MONTHLY WORK PARTY DATES FOR 2019 WILL BE POSTED IN FEBRUARY
Work parties usually begin in late March and run through early December (weather permitting).
With the recently awarded motorized RCO grant for $590,000, you can be assured that even more trails are in the works for the 2019-2020 biennium. This grant will potentially cover the construction of 3 complex bridges in a rugged, remote section of the forest and will provide the last grouping of connector trails that will finalize a complete loop system of 4x4 trails in the Yacolt Burn. We expect this next trail system to be completed in 2020.
The majority of the trail work parties are open to everyone to participate and get involved. Volunteers are critical to the successful completion of and opening of any new 4x4 trails in the Yacolt Burn. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing everyone in the forest this year.
If you are a member of another club please know that we do encourage visitors we believe that sharing knowledge will help unite the off-road community and allow for improvement and growth of 4x4 opportunities in our area for everyone to enjoy.
Happy Trails!
