So I was driving home from a friends house and decided to take the long scenic way home about a week ago. I was headed east on Livingston Rd./FR1000 toward fourcorners near Larch Mt. I was probably 1000' from fourcorners and noticed a first gen. toyota 4runner on what looked like 38" swampers drive in and over a small tank trap to access FR1401(road was on my left hand side). The small tank trap that he/she drove over looked to be heavely traveled. Can anyone tell me what the rules are about this sort of thing?

To my knowledge. There is no driving a vehicle off the main service roads anywhere in Southwest Washington period. Correct me if I'm wrong.

YEP, Very illegal right there. Those tank traps were built to keep rigs out. No motorized vehicles should be off the service roads, unless its on private property or is a service vehicle like a BPA truck, etc. As far as me and you we cant go off road unless its a ORV park or on our own property.
If you see this sort of stuff happening snap a few shots and get license plates, and the road/area.

It's really strange to drive around near four corners, from my observations there still seems to be offroad activity up there. I saw fresh tracks(same day) from a 4x4 going into Longview fiber land on my way home. Its no wonder that guy won't sit down for a meeting and discuss the use of his land... flipflop
