It was great having all of you at the shop tonight. Sorry it was so chaotic. Hopefully we will be ready for you next time Sorry to hear about the dog getting hit. Hope he is OK. Anyway, thanks again and hope a few of you can make it out to TSF tomorrow. Thanks, Brian You did great we tend to run in packs when we head out someplace. It is kinda overwhelming sometimes when we show up. The food was great well worth the drive. Lance

Yeah she's fine, we got home and she wanted to play until her meds kicked in. She's chillin on the couch now and seems to be enjoying the extra attention....
Great Pizza Brian - I'll be back out and I was actually shocked how well you guys did with the rush we caused. You could teach a few other places I eat at a lesson....

Brian, the pizza was awesome! The slide show of 4x4 photos was fun to watch while we ordered our pizza.
Also the trip after was a jont out to the 54 to check out the land slide and repair of the road. It's changed since I was up there, and the road looked good enough for the winter season. Not sure if they are going to do much more with it though. We then headed towards Yacolt and then up to Sunset Falls.......I was wondering what happened after that? Anyone want to elaborate?

Well I could elaborate a bit.
After we left Fivendime we headed up past cold creek campground then past the Larch Corrections Facility to 4 corners.
We then headed up the 1500 road just east of 4 corners we found an unattended fire in 30+ mph winds. We had enough resources with us to put that fire out.
Then it was onto arrowhead pit where there was a large pallet fueled bonfire going. We called that in to 911 and the fire dept showed up and extinguished the fire. We spoke to the fire chief that responded and told him about the first fire and suggested that they should check on it as well.
Darel also told the fire chief that there were "likely" fires over in the Jackson Pass area and the fire chief responded to us " it's very well protected over there and DNR will investigate that area in the morning". Just before the fire chief left the area - he spoke to the guys in the truck that were at the fire they just put out - that truck was full of pallets and headed towards Jackson Pass.
The participants then left towards Jones creek. We did end up seeing them later on as well at a large bonfire party at Baz gate.
We then continued on 1500 past the logging operation where the night watchman was on patrol and doing a good job of guarding the equipment.
We then headed over to Jackson Pass gravel pit and found another fire there with a party. On down the road by Baz Gate we encountered yet another party with a large fire ablaze.
That is as I know it. Oh and I got home shortly before 2am.
If I missed anything feel free to add too it.
