I was lurking on the JCTRA site and saw this thread... Is this another boat? jctra.org/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=1746I knew when I joined this club I might have to help out with some vehicle recoveries, but I didn't know they would be boats? I can't tell from the posts if this was before the clean up or if someone has dumped this up there since then. Anyone on the boat crew recognize this?

Cheri and I took those picture earlier in the year, up below Deere Pin on the C loop. It was a nice boat.
Now that I look at that picture, it's the same as ours. Sorry.

Boat crew checking in here,
That is not one of the boats we picked up at the clean up. It is in far better shape then the ones we got. It is also alot newer.

I think that the DNR took it away. Or someone else wanted a new boat.

Jon the recyclers get really grumpy if you try and get rid of a boat at the recycle centers. The metal scrapers won't take them either. No profit in fiberglass They want a ton of money to dispose of them. Also they want titles. So if the boat is "stolen" or "broken" , the low life's just put it on other folks to remove, DNR, Gifford Pinchot, and private land owners. It's a pain to get rid of the Fiberglass.
Oh By the way I have a boat hull to get rid of. Any takers. Can deliver, have title.
