i was just saying my point and once again you guys come off as disrespectful. people have the right to say what they want to say wheel what they want to wheel. crystal more and more i hear of people who cant stand you because of your attitude to the people that are not members of your club. to who ever said no one has ever been looked down on i feel i was when i showed up to the last clean up in my stock Cherokee, i was told by a few members CRYSTAL HER SELF that id never be allowed to go wheeling with the club because i had a stock vehicle so all I'm saying is take a look at how you treat people, no matter who they are because it will come back to bite you in the butt Every club run I have ever been there has never been anyone turned away because they have a stock rig. I know there have been less then a handful of runs where very specific rig specifications were in order because of terrain and where the run was being held. Other then that no one was ever turned away. So I don't know what you are talking about. I will leave it at that. And just who were these members that told you that you could never go because your rig was stock? I am going to call bull pucky on that one. If it was a specific run with rig requirements I could see that but not if it was just a regular club run. That is just my two cents for what its worth. Just one guys opinion.

To Annoyed:
Amongst other things - you are a liar.
Or - you have me completely confused with someone else.
I have ALWAYS been and ALWAYS will be an advocate of including everyone - regardless of their vehicle type or skill level.
You are barking up the wrong tree.
I insist that you tell me who you are so we can have a one on one conversation to get this cleared up. Or you can continue to be a coward and hide behind your keyboard continuing to stir the pot with no positve results.

the other discussion in regards to jeeps and the size of your drive shaft.
when did jeeping become PC to include vehicles that were not purpose designed for off road use?
1). its not a jeep thing, its a wheelbase thing. get over it.
2). for the last sixty years, only toyota's go where jeeps go. get over it.
3). for the last sixty years people without jeeps havnt been driving non jeeps into the woods where jeeps go.
4). if your still have trouble understanding the "jeep thing" see number one.

i do have to side with the club about not turning away people on a run or what ever other event. i have never heard or seen that happen. i for one have been welcome at the meetings i have attended and was graciously offered a seat in wyldmans jeep on a run. i just need to make everyone clear that i have not ever called anyone "anti-full size". its an attitude that can come out in some replies. if i have called anyone that i do apologize for that. i do sometimes get the impression from some posts along the anti-full size lines. if iam in the wrong here than i am sorry but i cant change how things are said or not said. i will give anyone my number and my address and we can talk it over in person. i have nothing to hide. i will be at the meeting on tuesday.

Edited by myself.....Cause after thinking about my post I'm just going to bail out of this mess and deal with it at the meeting.

Here's the bottom line!
This petty bickering has to stop here. There is nothing constructive coming from this. I feel sorry for 92xj. He just wanted to know when the trail building was starting.
This is the way we're going to deal with this...
No more "anonymous" posts. If you have something to say... bring two things with you to the meeting this Tuesday. 1) The PROBLEM you have with ANYONE who discriminated against you for driving whatever rig you drive and the idea that there aren't going to be FULL SIZE trails in the new trail system. 2) A SOLUTION to these problems. I want FACTS when you present the problems. No more emotionally driven arguments.
The time is Tuesday July 13th, 6:00 pm at Pied Piper Pizza to get this resolved and PUT THIS BEHIND US.
Crystal (President), Joey (Secretary), Douglas (Board of Trustee) and Lance (Board of Trustee) will be there at 6:00 pm to address this situation.
If you chose not to be at this meeting, you have no RIGHT to continue in this debate. I would ask that we need to act as mature adults and not make unfounded accusations.
The health of this club relies on people working together for the greater good, standing together in the face of adversity, and not deviating from the common goal. Let's stay focused on what we are ALL here to achieve.
Douglas Board of Trustee

There comes a time in life when you walk away from all the pointless drama and people who create it, and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus on the good. Life is too short to be anything but happy! Live your life like you have no tomorrow. Be happy! Now let's ride!

I've always been one for facts cause its easy to point fingers and judge without them. Its so hard to portray exactly what your saying by typing it. Time for this meeting, and time for facts and time to get this situation resolved like Wyldman said. I hope we can get this resolved in a respectful manner. Lets work this together, and come out ahead in the end! Sorry 92xj for letting this great thread topic get so far off, I as a moderator should have stopped this one a long time ago, but as all forums go things can veer off topic quick.
From here on out if you have any posts that are degrading, disrespectful, hateful, inconsiderate, non-factual, or any other type of bitterness against the plans or people I will delete/edit your post.

after some research and some discussions with some people i have heard what i needed to hear. im satisfied on things and i have taken the appropriate measure to rectify my rants. but i do have the facts and they are written on this forum. but i dont need to bring them up myself because like i said im now satisfied with how things are being planned and will not be posting about this again.

I think the best way to answer this is... Come to the meeting tomorrow @ Pied Piper Pizza where an update on all the project's progress will be discussed. The meeting starts at 7:00pm but social hour starts at 6:00pm. I look forward to seeing you there.

I would also like there to be a mix of trails at the Yacolt Burn ORV park. The plan is to build a WORLD CLASS ORV park and I don't think those plan's have changed. That means that we will do our best to cater to everyone as much as we can As a group we just wanted say that we are going to try are hardest to make everyone happy, and to do that we need people to throw out idea's like yours so we can make the PERFECT trail system. I didn't come out and say I want full size trails but as everyone can see I'm not against them. I have multiple family members that have full size rigs. I want to make this trail system WORLD CLASS (i.e.: chartering to everyone) if you look at allot of comp rigs and quite a few personal rigs that are out there are full size. This is going to be a feat in the Yacolt burn due to the amount of trees and basically the terrain that we are dealing with. This project will be Word Class and we can make it fun for all. It's going to take some time. All I can say is submit your ideas and we will do our best to incorporate them into OUR (southwest Washington’s) new trail system. That’s something all of us should be happy about.
