Well, if we're going to go I need to get loaded. It'll take me about an hour to get up to the campground. So leaving sunset falls cg at 11 sharp?

Your breaking my heart here I've got a family/friend dinner a 2:00p.m. today that I'm supposed to make an apperance at...what to do, what to do flip.flop

Thanks for watching out for us, what a crazy night for a ride. And I think the trip home was the worst. I think we are all very tired.

All I can say is I have a fresh pot of coffee on right now Thanks Kevin for the call, and thanks guys for being concerned. It was a wild ride last night mostly due to weather, but BOY was it fun! I will post some pics and vids up in a bit. Again Thanks!

No problem, I know that 4220 road gets real nasty in the winter. I don't know if I have ever made it around the loop after it's really started to lay down the snow up there. Glad you guys had a fun trip, next time I'll make sure not to miss it.

It was raining pretty hard and windy down here in valley so I'm sure it was a lot worse up there!

Airing down in the rain, airing up in the wind and rain, driving through snow flying sideways, windy as heck.... did I mention the wind yet? And ice... I felt like I was in a drift car more than a jeep at times. To sum it up in one word.... It was awesome!
Pics and more details to come, but for now its time for coffee.

Well 5AM return from the snow.Very cool. Fresh coffee now. Thanks to every one for your concern about our safety.
It was a very good time. All the rigs performed very well. No Major stuck's. One flat, tire off the bead. Easy repair (once the perp took some ribbing for not having a "free" high lift on board) , with out Starting fluid. Some disappointment though. Most wanted to see or hear the "Whomp" of blowing a tire back to the wheel.
Snow was to deep to push through on the 4220 road up to Cougar rock. Probably could Have pushed on through but was the consensus of the group "why". It would have been a real challenge for the stock rig's among us and it was getting Early.
Stopped on the way back for a "Brownie Break", Mmmm Good stuff, and to let the wind gather a good head of steam to challenge us on the decent back to Sunset Falls.
Wind, Rain, Snow , Ice, and dodging large chunks of tree in the path, safe trip, and good friends to wheel with "IT DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THAT" .
Actual we weren't the most hearty of all the folks at Sunset. There was some one camping in a tent. We thought of going over and shaking their hand, but at 3:30 in the AM we may not have been very welcome.
Thanks all for the good trip.
