Thank you very much, Bill Manbeck, for donating an entire engine for our Vega race car today. The students will learn a great deal while they restore this engine to race ready status. Thank you as well to all the Pistons Wild members who have all given so freely of their time and their wisdom to help these kids achieve their goals. got to be a V8 ya know. no substitute for cubic inches.
Some thing's the kids will need are a MSD Box and a Distributor (not necessarily a MSD), and a Carb (600/650 will do). The one's I have as extras are junk.
Oh ... the silent voice came out
any takers???

what size is the motor i have a Holley 600 and some go fast part for a small block...my son goes to that school and is in moose,s class..and i was planing going to the meeting next thursday...

Its a .40 over 350, Edelbrock performer intake, been balanced, 2.02/160 heads ??? maybe 194's, roller rockers should turn up nice. 600 Holly would do OK to start out. depends on the cam and exhaust. I may make it to the meeting too just to see what the plan is
