Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say I had a great time until we heard "We have to turn around" I still had a good time even after that too. A big thanks to all the NEW people we got to meet out on the trail. I hope ya'll had a good time with us. Please join us for a meeting on Feb 9th at Pied Piper Pizza in Vancouver. I'm sorry I had to bug out right after we aired up but my wife thought I was going to be home a lot earlier. So she freaked out a little.
Anyway thanks for a great trip.

So did everyone make it home? Anyone awake yet? Where did you all go? LOL we were all passed out at that time. I didn't wake up till 3pm. The total count was 17 rigs, and for the most part it went smooth, other then a few de-beaded tires and that broken CB antenna I think it was "trouble free" till we hit that GIANT tree in the road. You could have hid my Cherokee behind that thing, and just behind that was a slide over the road with about 5 or so large trees on top of it so we were forced to turn around. I came out with the cow bell....because my tires suck....I'm quite tired of them now. I think that thing was passed around like a virus last night. I will try to get up the pictures here soon, and I will announce the cash amount for the word of the run (stuck-snow) at the next meeting. I had a great time as did my wife.....I just wish that tree and slide wasn't in the way. As for you new guys.....they usually arent that long of runs...LOL...what a way to break ya in.... ;D

That would be a good idea, but I will probably be slaving away on my under lighting for the XJ, I need to see what I ran over....lol Quick Tip: Put a dab of silicon around where the wire enters each LED pod. I've noticed some dirt and grit getting inside mine. Thanks for the Tip with those lights. Those things took me longer then expected to hook up. I drilled out the holes on the lights and used pop rivets to attach them to the uni-body. That was working way better then those darn plastic clips they give you.

Snow + Night Run = Epic Adventure I left my house at 5pm on Saturday and rolled back into the driveway around 8:30 am Sunday morning! I had a blast, and really enjoyed the trip. Thanks to those who were always out lending a helping hand, and to everyone who participated. I think for the most part everyone had their "patience hat" on as Douglas said. On a side note, the puppy did very well for a 16 hour jaunt in the woods.

Hey everyone. Wendy and I had a great time. Big kudos to the man cuttin' the trail! That was some awesome work. I also really appreciated the guy that helped blow my tires (twice!) back on the rim (sorry I can't remember your name) ... liked learning a new trick! We already have a list and next time we'll be more prepared. Looking forward to meeting up with ya'll on Feb. 9th.

That was Rick (shortbus) (AKA pyro-boy) helping you with your tires. When you came through the snow slide, that was Darel (oldyellr) and Kevin? (Wyldman's shotgun) maintaining the groove in the snow to get everyone through. Previously though, in addition to Darel & Kevin, there were alot of people working with shovels to cut that original groove in to keep the rigs from slipping off the edge. We look forward to seeing you both at the February meeting... Crystal

Hey thanks Tsmithchoppers for checking in with us and joining us on the run. I'm glad you and your wife had a good time. I had a great time in our conversation about building your rig. If you have any other questions, myself or anyone else for that matter will be happy to assist you anyway we can. I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

P.S. My friends name is Kevin. He had a great time also.

Well it is always fun setting a tire on fire with it still on the rig. lol... I think there was a plug wire that was melted in a few spots on another jeep and I wonder if every one has checked out all the scraches on the rigs they should buff out lol...

Another good run! I haven't taken my antenna back to Radio Shack yet to see if they'll replace it. Still trying to recover some lost sleep lol. I got home with just enough time to make waffles and coffee before the 8am Arsenal vs. Man U game. After my team took a severe beating I decided to get some sleep at 9:30am . Oh well here's some pictures I took and a video in the album of people playing in the rock pit. link to more pictures + video: gs170.photobucket.com/groups/u248/N9CCDQ32AW/We came across this behemoth somewhere around 4am laying right in the middle of our path.

Big Thanks Joey for a run that will be remembered for a long time. It challenged my jeep and my body. I would like to also thank all that helped my friend Troy in the little red YJ. The information and experience he gained is a great help to him.The driving tips that wildman passed on were invaluable.Looking forward to the next one. JIM
