we are back, im down a tire dont know how i put a 4" slash in the sidewall, we had a fun day, and just as Josh and i decided it was time to go home and call it a day, two guys in a truck roll up to us at 4 corners and ask us if we want to go pull two full size trucks out of the mud/snow... why not we said(i can now think of plenty of reasons to not...) and off we went out past the prison camp and up some logging road to the right anyhow 2hrs latter we were on our way home after pulling out the two trucks, and changing my tire, and getting a "thank you"... i want to sleep.
and if that wasnt bad enough, tomorrow monring i have to get up and drive up to the dalles to get my fiances car cause she lost her keys and had to drive her parents back home... fml

got my tire replaced... $75+ later, i guess free tire replacement isnt really free... oh well it beats $200+ for a new tire, anyhow not impressed with this vendor
thanks tom for mounting and balancing it for me and delivering it to my door on your way home!

Issac at least you had the warranty. It is prorated to how much of the tire you have used.
Sorry Crystal I was and got the "What took you so long, I just talk to you and you were on your way back with my boys. I thought I was going to have to make a call to people to come get you." from Melissa. And that lead to a long story and I got side tracked after that. I assured her that her boys were safe, warm and wet from the hips down.
I took 5 videos and is the last on with Issac in front most of the way back.

Issac at least you had the warranty. It is prorated to how much of the tire you have used. i realize that, and understand that a business would not make any money if they didnt do that, as someone would wait till all of their tires were low on tread and then either purposely drive over something to damage the tire or damage the tire some other way to get new tires. i had only used 1 - 2/32 of the tread on those tires, they have maybe 3000k miles on them if that, and over half of that has been freeway miles so not a lot of wear. anyhow they charged me for the "difference in price" or the inflation over the last 2 years... when i bought the tires i paid $162 a tire, now they are $218 a tire, so charged me the difference in cost from then till now and then the $25 for the new tire warranty(which i am ok with and was expecting)... i have my own thoughts on that and the retailers business practices but i will keep them to myself. i just know i will keep my shopping their to a bare minimum ie only if im forced too.
