I was thinking of taking the quads for a ride monday. I know the kids want to go. So I'm going to take them up early Memorial Day. Anyone is welcome as long as you have any type of quad.
Just post you want to come along. Bill
P.S. Someone is going to be with Cheri at home. She gave us her blessings

AND since we'll be up that way, my sister is having a BBQ up at her house so when we get done and we're starving my parents said we're welcome to stop in for some food.

Ok, maybe we could just park at the top of Jackson Pass. Then drop over the other side.

It was a awesome day for a ride. I really didn't want to go because of the rain. But guess what, no rain. I love those weather people. And Brooke and Brandon for making me go. We parked at Jackson Pass and started on the B-Loop. It was in great shape. Then we made our way down from the new fence at the Deere Pin. That gate is a little small. Tight for our quads. As we rode down the hill we noticed that the water was running right over the water bars. They have no dip above the water bars to catch the run off. Just check it out in the rain. Then we headed to the trail head. That trails is alot more fun now without all the stumps sticking out. Nice job JC for cleaning it up. Still needs lots of rock. But it makes it better for mud slingers. Then we jumped on the A-Loop start. It is a little rough in some spots. Lots of corner's that some ORV's have been cutting. They are making it nice for all of us. Then we got to the Baz rd. crossing. We had three motorcycles and one sport quad trying to get through the new timber sales area. The trail was a mess. But not a problem for the four by four quads. Lots of fun. After all that fun we headed up the B-Loop towards the area we graveled a couple of months back. The water bars never got done. And the gravel is getting a little thin. But it was good for now. We then jumped back up to the truck and headed to a BBQ over at Brooke sister house. I can't forget the Black Bear I seen on the trail and all the deer using the trails today. What a great day for a ride. Sorry you all missed out. Maybe next time.

I went up Monday afternoon, watched it rain so hard that the parking lot had about 3 to 4 inches of water in about 4 minutes. It was a real cloud burst. Great riding!!! Great mud!! Great times!!.

It all waited until about 4:30. For a second I thought it might wash the parking lot away!!!

Thanks again for taking us with you Bill! I really hope Cheri has a speedy but safe recovery, so we can ALL take advantage of the outdoors a little this summer.
