Let me know what you think. I am looking for a weekend that we can have a club event at the Natches ORV Park. I will be leaving on a Friday night and coming back on a Sunday night. I would like to get as many people there as we can but I won’t go unless we have at least 6 rigs. So post up!! Who wants’ to go? What weekend you want to go? What rig you’re planning on taking? What you will be sleeping in? I will make all arrangements for camping and I will also put together a meal plan for Saturday night. The rest of the time you will have to fend for your self. So let’s hear it I want to go to Natches do you?

The second one is Halloween Weekend, some maybe growling at the moon. Or eating candy corn or brains.

Voted! I cant make the last weekend as I will be at Wildhorse Canyon at a Work and Worship weekend for Young Life.
Edit: I can make the Oct 23-24 weekend. I will be bringing my XJ by itself as well at tent camping. IF I have my truck by then I will be trailering my rig but still tenting it.

I can only make it the last weekend if able to go at all. I will be out of town the weekend of the 23rd. I will be trailering my rig with my truck and will have to figure out sleeping arrangements. At this point I'm only about 50% sure I can go. I will keep you posted.
Thanks for putting this together Ryan. This trip will be a lot of fun. I hope I'm able to make it.

Well my plan is to camp at a place called Riders Camp ;D www.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/cle-elum-orv/riders-campground.htmlThis is the GPS coordinates for the camp ground maps.google.com/maps?q=47.028885,-120.936792 Please feel free to add your address into the Direction's spot this will give you the best way there from your house and the amount of miles to get there. I will be going up I-5 to Auburn and heading over from there for me it is 263 miles from my house to the camp ground. My plan is to head up as early as possible. I want to get up there to save spots only because it is first come first serve. The camping is $5 per night so please be prepared to pay to camp. If you are towing a your toy you will only have to pay for your tow rig. If you are driving your toy you will have to pay for your toy. This is what I found out last time I was there from the Ranger that stopped by. This is the place you can down load the maps for the area www.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/cle-elum-orv/orv-maps.htmlThese are the two maps of around the camp ground area www.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/cle-elum-orv/maps/map-west-9.pdfwww.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/cle-elum-orv/maps/map-west-8.pdfThese are some things that the Cle Elum Ranger District wants us to know before we hit there trails. www.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/cle-elum-orv/know-before-you-go.htmlPlease make sure you have the correct ORV permit for your vehicle. If you live in Washington and have a Washington drivers license you will need a Washington ORV tag. If you live in Oregon your Oregon ORV tag will work if your registration and license are both from Oregon State. This is the Washington law that states this. If you are from Oregon please print this and throw it in you glove box this way you have a reason if you get stopped. You shouldn't have any problems. apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=46.09.050Other than that these are some photos of the area and I want to let you know since it's late in the season it could possibly be wet so plan accordingly. www.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/cle-elum-orv/photo-gallery.htmllet me know if you have any questions and I will find the answer for them. I really want to go to Riders Camp so I hope we can get a big enough group together to go. This will be my last big trip of the year until next spring because we do allot of snow wheeling if the weather provides us with some white stuff . Ryan aka iceman

Ryan, have you decided on the weekend you're going, or did I miss something?
Thanks, Douglas

I think I am going to be pinned down to doing the first weekend Oct 22, 23, and 24. I guess the kids can't miss Halloween. I also want to put together Saturday nights dinner if we get enough people. I was thinking maybe I would pick up some ribs and maybe everyone could bring a side. Ribs are easy to cook on the old BBQ and make for a great meal before an awesome night run. Please post up (if your going) what you want to bring so we don't have 6 containers of Potato Salad ;D.

I will do some garlic bread. Of course I will need a grill of some sorts to cook it on. May toss in some corn that we canned up from the garden this year if we have enough people coming.

I am know running out of time to get this put all together for this trip. So because we have only two people going Joey and I to Natches I am changing out plans and going to browns camp instead. This is what I plan on running for the day.
#4b Second Section of Powerlines #10 University Firepower #13 Cedar Tree sections 1,2,3,4(the tree secion) #14 Firebreak Five #16a Saddle Up #16d Airplane (for those who want to run it I will not be) #17 7-up up the Med side down the easy side. #18 Hogs Back
Then down through Lyda Camp and up the Hwy to Rogers camp to Air up and head down the road. I will be planning to stop at Red Robin on the way back for dinner and social time. Please let me know if your coming and what you will be driving. I will make another attempt at Natches in the early summer time when the snow melts.
As of know I will be coming with the Cherokee and my step dad will be coming with his Cherokee if we get the locker installed in the rear in time.

That shouldn't be a problem just give me a call and we can get that done in a day ;D Last time I checked didn't people raise there hands to go to Naches? if you raise your hand.....go, it saves people from planning large scale events and then having to change plans due to lack of commitment. Sorry if I hurt some feelers, my rant is over. BC here we come. What time do you plan on getting there? Convoy? Come on people lets get this run together....Post up if ya want to go!!!!!!

If I didn't already have plans for that weekend, I'd be there.
If you don't get any more people committed, you're more than welcome to wheel Evans with my group.
