I might have to just ride with someone if there is an open seat. The T-case is back in and works fine, but I need to play with the speed-o to get it to work again. Also, I noticed my tags expired soooo I probable shouldn't drive it... ;D

Is there any minimum equipment recommendation? I'd hate to get up there and be a burden. Plus, Rick likes having the bell.

No Minimum just that I can give you a pull now and then. It would be nice if you have recovery points front and rear and a cb, but that stuff is not required just preferred. The only thing that is required from me on my runs is that if your spotter is giving you advise (were to turn, air down ......) take it they can see more than you can. I will never leave anyone alone in the forest I will work all night to get your rig out if i have to. That goes for all pistons wild members I have been the one that needed the help and they have always been there for me.

You might want to call and see if the store has tree permits. Last weekend they did not have any and we had to go all the way to Cougar to get them.

Kayla just called the store and they got a new shipment of tree permits in yesterday. The gentleman at the store said they have lots!

Info on the Chelatchie store. They have fuel but are not set up yet for debit or credit cards. Cash only in the store. They also have a large lot for parking trailers and tow vehicles should anyone want to trailer a rig up that far.
Any ideas if we are gonna hit snow?

I have filled up there countless times with a card over the last few years They do have lots of food, munchies and a deli there to make food as well. I generally like to grab a few things to support the local small business, it would be a bummer to not have them there. As far as snow, Im most certain if there is any it wont be under our tires. Most has been melted by these darn rain storms. Snow level has been well above the elevation were headed to. Its still going to be a blast, just with rain ;D

Okay I just checked the weather report ( www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/forecast/Default.aspx?zone=WA019 ). The snow level is coming down to 3000ft tonight and is going to slowly rise to 6500ft late tomorrow afternoon. We will be in the 3000ft range for about 1/3 of the day. So there could be snow on the ground . What is going to make it interesting is if there is snow on the ground then the snow level rises and it warms up while its raining. This could make for a sloppy day . They are predicting 12in to 18in of new snow in the cascades tonight into tomorrow morning. Then there is a flood watch/warning until Monday morning. So please come prepared for the worst. The least that can happen is you bring to much stuff but it's better to always be prepaid. So I will see you all in the morning at 9am at the Chelatchie Prairie general store. ;D
