So after watching that show I hope that they get some serious fines. Has anyone seen the episode yet? There abuse and showing of how not to tread lightly is completely absurd. I know that this has been going around from the Crawl magazine facebook page to other 4x4 forums. If you get a chance watch those clowns show the wrong way to treat our public lands and then write Discovery/Top Gear a nasty email. No respect for what we work so hard to save and love.

I have it DVR'd after I seen a preview I wanted to record it for later viewing. Good thing you ruined it for me Tom.... ;D jk. I will write an email. The only thing is I must know the area there at is illegal. There is allot of area in the Alaska wilderness that is basically muddy messes like that. When I was up there mining on a private mine in the middle of no mans land the roads are primitive at best, and best accessible by quads. I will write them to ask where they were at and if it was legal areas to be doing this.

Sorry Joey I wasnt trying to be a buzzkill Its still going to be interesting to watch though. My post was edited....my bad, The European version did something like this through a rainforest and desert with 3 rigs, a Samari, FJ40 and a Landrover.

I watched it just now. Good episode. I'm sure some people might not like it, but oh well as far as I'm concerned.
I checked a local wheeling board from up there. In the discussion of the episode they pointed out what areas the filming took place in. That's just wheelin' in AK.

I literally just finished watching the episode. I can find some questionable and stupid acts but I believe its all for TV and can be taken in the wrong light. On the other hand, where they were driving was a legal area so I'm not going to really complain. Again its Alaska and some of the roads look just like that. Driving reckless through the water and whatnot is stupid and irresponsible and not treading lightly so that I can see is wrong. I do think it doesn't help our sport in a good way but hey maybe letters to them will cause them to do a little blurb about what not to do, and how to tread lightly. Thats my take on it.
