I've been receiving survey requests lately from the Washington State Department of Transportation about taxes. These have been coming in on my business e-mail. Is anyone else getting these survey requests?
I'm confused as to whether I am receiving these because I am a registered voter or because I own a trucking company...
Thoughts?
Dear Crystal Crowder,
#1 It is important for Washington State citizens to have a voice in services and fees enacted. The 3 minute survey below asks registered voters to weigh in on adding sales tax to the price of gasoline as a way to help pay for state transportation needs. Please consider helping us with this important issue.
#2 The WA State Transportation Commission (WSTC) is asking a group of people selected from WA State’s registered voter records to weigh in on their support or opposition to charging users a reasonable toll to cross Snoqualmie and other state passes as a way to fund the cost of maintaining these mountain travel corridors year round?
Thank you for your input.
